Open: April 21The wild cherry Resort is an up scale RV and camping Resort located in Suttons Bay Michigan just north of Traverse City Mi, The Rv Resort is built on a 7th generation working cherry and apple farm. we have 50 full service sites that have water sewer electric and we hope to have Wi-Fi in this year 06, we also have 26 sites that are located on a man made 4 acre lake. The camping is rustic for those of you who like to pop up a tent , along with Yurts you can rent that are located in the woods of northern Michigan, we are adding new yurts and small cabins as we move forward with our developement.We are working on 9 holes of golf along with our driving Range.
We have tours available of the farm for your enjoyment. we have 200 acres for you to hike around and look for moral mushrooms in the sprin time. We also have pick your own cherries during harvest which starts around the second week in July. In Leelanau county we have 14 wineries for your enjoyment with 4 more being built this year. Suttons Bay is located on a penninsula so three is water in every direction you go, along with lake leelanau which is 21 miles long for your inland water fun This place is a must see on your traveling conquest.
