Open: May 9 -Oct. 15Lake Forest Resort is quiet second home or weekend retreat for couples with grown families. There are many seasonals who regard LFR as their summer home. We are located on Great East Lake, in East Wakefield, a Class A lake which is very clear and beautiful. We have a wide dock along the waterfront for seating, a swimmming area, and boat ramp which overlooks the lake at a mile wide point. It is not uncommon to hear see loons during the day. The grounds are natural but trimmed and the roads are fine for walking and biking. We are building a Cayman Golf course which provides exercise and further walking paths. Camp activities include fun get togethers on Saturday and Sunday morning for shuffleboard, golf and Bocci. Dinners, special game nights,Grandchildren's Family Weekend, July 4th Chix BBQ and Lobster Bake in August are a few of the summer activities. Park Model homes are for sale.
